Tesco (TSCO)
Tesco is the UK's leading food retailer. It usurped Sainsbury for the honour in 1995. It was floated on the London stock exchange in 1947. Tesco is now expanding its convenience stores and overseas into areas such as Taiwan, Malaysia, Poland, the US and Ireland. It has been struggling to make a profit in the US, but it's figures, out today (5/10/2011) show that it is close to break even.
Tesco Dividends
