National Express Group (NEX)
National Express was privatised in 1988. It was floated four years later. National Express operates bus, train, light rail, express coach and airport services in the UK, North America and Australia. More than 25% of the groups operations are now in international markets.
National Express Group dividends
They have twice recently cut their dividend to zero in 2007 and 2009 and are not expected to return to their 2006 dividend payout levels in the near future.
Despite this they have good dividend cover and are performing well in the Optimizer over 3 dividends.
